《割れたら終わり》
というのがガラスの運命。
17年前、そこに　さみしさを感じていた頃
「ホウケイ酸ガラス」と出会い、
ジュエリーをつくったことが
現在の活動のきっかけとなりました。

このガラスは、割れたり欠けたりしても、
もう一度火に入れて溶かすことでキズが直せ、
もしかしたら より善きものに変化
させることができる。
強さと脆さが同居するその姿に、
揺動く人の心を重ねる。

「そのひと」と「そのジュエリー」
の組み合わせ、その人だけの表情、
その人だけの異なる美しさを放つ
そんな ジュエリーを 。

寄り添い 向き合っていけるように。

Borosilicate jewelry that makes the wearer sparkle

"When it breaks, that's the end."
Such is the accepted fate of glass.
Seventeen years ago, this thought made me sad.
But then I encountered borosilicate glass,
and was inspired to make jewelry with it.
This has continued to this day.

If this glass breaks or chips,
it can be placed under fire and made new again.
Perhaps even better than before.
The beauty of this jewelry, where strength and brittleness coexist,
is embraced by the heart of the person for whom it resonates.

The beauty that is manifested
when a "person" and "jewelry" are brought together,
is a beauty that is unique to that person.
Such is the expression that I hope will radiate
in the jewelry that I create.

A beauty that continues to shine
from the first day it is worn.

2003 Graduated from the Glass Certification Studies Program at the Toyama
City Institute of Glass Art
2004 Began making borosilicate (heat-resistant) glass jewelry.
